Colorbond® steel cladding with corrugated profile is the standard option

Quintessentially Australian, the standard Backyard Pod comes in corrugated-profile Colorbond® cladding. Sheets can be ordered to run horizontally (most popular) or vertically. There are 22 Colorbond® colours to choose from, plus silver-coloured Zincalume®.

Square-profile Bonville® steel cladding available in some areas

Made from quality Bluescope® steel just like Colorbond®, Bonville® is the elegant, square-profiled cladding that can be used either horizontally or vertically. If you’re lucky enough to live within our Bonville® delivery zone you can consider the choice as an optional extra. Available in all colours.

Use custom cladding on one wall or any of the walls if you like

Yes, it is possible to use different cladding on your Backyard Pod, providing it complies with building regulations and any approvals you may already have, as it may affect necessary fire ratings and other factors.

Some ideas for cladding one or more walls (as a feature) have included cedar weatherboards and cement sheeting with decorative battens.

We think you can’t go past Colorbond® as an external cladding material, with the choice of colour being all-important as to how it blends with your home and landscape. However, if you want us to leave out the Colorbond® for one or more walls in your building kit order, we can give you a quote.
