They make a profit on every little thing, and then on doing every little thing, which is why ‘turnkey’ building solutions are too costly for most people.

On the other hand, if you’re happy to do more of the decision-making and organisation yourself, you’ll save money, de-risk your project, and have more to spend on nice things like internal fittings, finishes, and furnishings.
