Home office 2.5m x 4m at Balgownie, Wollongong NSW

Our customer at Balgownie, near Wollongong NSW, took on their 2.5m x 4m home office construction as an owner-builder project. The unusual choice of Colorbond® Surf Mist with contrast detailing in Colorbond® Monument produced a sharp-looking, personalised result.

The project used doors and windows from a different range, with lintels supplied by us to suit the width of the openings. The owner is delighted with the finished result, as it’s exactly what he’d envisioned for his backyard office pod.

Unusually, aside from the accent colour on the barges and window frames, the owner opted for a standard personal access door rather than one of our sliding double-glazed doors for the entry to their office pod. It’s an option, as any style of doors and windows can be used – even timber-framed,
