Portable buildings

Yes, it’s possible to make a portable Backyard Pod. The key difference is in the foundations. Whereas a permanent Backyard Pod is mounted on steel piers that are set into concrete, the portable building is constructed on a pair of steel skids that run along the outer lengths underneath the building. Because the pod is a fully integrated structure, when on skids it can be moved to another location on the same site or winched onto the back of a flatbed truck for transportation. The practical size limit for portable buildings is 3.2m x 8m.
