Consideration #1 studios are more affordable

Obviously, when backyard studios don’t contain all of the facilities needed for everyday living, there will be savings on fittings, appliances, and connections, as well as room space. The overall building doesn’t need to be quite so large at a minimum if it’s not fully self-contained. Backyard studios are versatile as a home office where overnight guests can also stay, for example, and this versatility is why so many people are wanting a backyard studio with ensuite facilities.

Consideration #2 granny flats are rentable

Before you commit to building a backyard studio, think again about proceeding with a fully self-contained granny flat as an outstanding investment. You might not want to rent it out in the foreseeable future but it’s always there and it will always add value to your home.
