We love the Scandi look of this Backyard Pod lined internally with plywood (instead of Gyprock). Plywood is under-rated as an interior lining material but it’s natural, easy to work with, and it ages beautifully. On a sloping block, with minimal excavation, this Backyard Pod tucks itself beautifully into its surroundings with a great flow between indoors and outdoors.

We have a great range of double-glazed modular windows but you can also source your own windows locally or ask your installer to organise them for you. This customer took a mix-and-match approach with some timber-framed feature windows combined with contemporary black stacker and sliding doors.

Backyard Pods are great for sloping blocks because foundation piers are available in varying lengths. Standard foundation piers are 600mm in length but also 900mm, 1200mm and longer are available. Backyard Pods can also be installed on our optional skids if the building needs to be moved in future.
